Frequently asked questions

What is SocialAbility4All?

SocialAbility4All is an educational social-emotional learning platform for every age group. We offer three platforms: SocialAbility4Kids (ages 4–12), SocialAbility4Teens (ages 13–17) and SocialAbility4Adults (18+). For schools and districts it is both a CASEL-aligned SEL curriculum and an MTSS screening and reporting system on one student record. It is educational content, not therapy or clinical treatment.

Who is SocialAbility4All designed for?

Families (parents and caregivers with their children and teens), adults learning on their own, and — through separate agreements — schools, districts and mental-health practices. Each group has tools tailored to its needs.

What's the difference between the three platforms?

Each platform is designed for its age group. SocialAbility4Kids uses playful, game-based learning with visual supports. SocialAbility4Teens covers adolescent topics like peer pressure, digital communication and identity. SocialAbility4Adults focuses on professional and personal relationship skills.

Which platforms does each plan include?

Family plans (Starter, Plus and Premium) include all three platforms — Kids, Teens and Adults — for every child profile on the plan (Starter: up to 2 child profiles, Plus: up to 4, Premium: unlimited). For each child under 13, a parent or legal guardian must verify consent before that child's progress is saved. The individual Adult and Adult Pro plans are for one learner aged 18+ and include the Adults platform only. You can upgrade at any time; upgrades are credited for the unused part of your current period, and downgrades take effect at your next renewal (if you have more child profiles than the new plan allows, you choose which ones stay active).

Is there a free trial, and what does it include?

Yes. The free trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. It is scoped to each learner's own age group: a child sees the Kids lessons for their age (ages 4–12), a teen sees the Teens platform (13–17) and an adult sees the Adults platform (18+). In every case it unlocks 5 lessons — the first lesson of the first module in each of Phases 1–5. Everything else stays locked until you choose a plan. There is one free trial per household, your progress carries over when you upgrade, and for learners under 13 progress is saved only after a parent or guardian has verified consent.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and PayPal. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe — your card details never touch our servers. Schools, districts and practices that need invoicing can request a quote from our team.

How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?

Yes. Cancel in one step from Account settings → Billing — no need to contact support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period, you keep access until then, and we email you a confirmation. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase only (renewals and later purchases are excluded); email billing@socialability4all.com to request it and refunds go back to the original payment method. Prices shown are plus applicable taxes; your final price including tax is shown at checkout.

What happens to our progress if we cancel or the trial ends?

If you cancel, or your trial ends without a subscription, your account moves to a limited state and we keep your learners' progress for 60 days so you can pick up where you left off by subscribing. After 60 days the progress data is deleted. You can export it before then from Account settings → Your data, or by sending a request from our Privacy Rights page.

What does Premium (Family Premium / Adult Pro) include?

Family Premium and Adult Pro add a members-only Premium resources area with: the Advanced Module Library — Modules 21–25 Workplace SEL and Modules 26–30 MTSS Advanced (the MTSS track is written for counselors, mental-health professionals and school staff, with family-facing introductions); SEL playbooks and learning paths adapted for families or individual adult learners; the research library; and priority support. Premium content is educational, not clinical guidance, and is licensed for use within your household.

What does "priority support" mean?

Priority support means tickets from Family Premium and Adult Pro members are tagged by plan and answered first, with a target first response within 24 hours (standard support targets 2 business days). It covers help using the platform and your account. It does not include phone support, strategy calls or clinical advice.

Do you offer CE credits for professionals?

Not at this time. We are not an approved continuing-education provider, and our courses do not currently carry CE credit. Our district training library provides professional development for school staff.

Can I use SocialAbility4All with my clients?

You can use the Professional plan to assign modules and follow progress that a parent or guardian has authorized you to see. We do not yet offer Business Associate Agreements, so please do not store protected health information (PHI) on the platform — keep clinical records in your own HIPAA-covered system.

Do you offer training for professionals?

Yes. Schools and districts get implementation guides and an on-demand training library. Practices and districts can ask about onboarding sessions as part of their agreement.

What devices and browsers are supported? Is there an app?

SocialAbility4All runs in any modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on computers, tablets and phones — there is nothing to install. We do not currently sell subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play; all purchases, plan changes, cancellations and refunds are handled on our website.

Is my data secure?

We encrypt all traffic with TLS, hash every password with bcrypt, lock sensitive records behind row-level security, and keep an append-only audit log of changes to clinical records. We are not yet SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified, and we do not sell your data. See our Trust Center for the full, up-to-date status.

Can I download content for offline use?

Many worksheets, guides and reports can be downloaded as PDFs for offline use. Lessons and videos need an internet connection.

How is progress tracked?

Learners see their own progress and achievements. On family plans, the Account Owner can follow each child profile in the Parent Dashboard (for children under 13, after verifying parental consent). Family Plus and Premium add detailed reports. Schools see the same lesson evidence roll up from student to class, school and district.

Are the programs evidence-based?

Our lessons are aligned to the CASEL framework and informed by published research on social-emotional learning. The research library lists the studies behind our approach.

Do you offer pricing for schools or organizations?

Yes. Schools, districts and practices are licensed under a separate agreement with pricing based on the number of users. Request a quote and our team will follow up.

How do I get started?

Click "Start free trial" to create your account and begin your 14-day free trial — no card needed. A short onboarding step sets up the right age group for each learner.

Can I integrate SocialAbility4All with my school or practice systems?

Schools and districts can roster through Clever, ClassLink, Google Classroom or CSV upload. Other integrations are discussed as part of an institutional agreement.

What accessibility features are available?

We design and test against WCAG 2.1 AA. The platform includes screen-reader support, keyboard navigation, adjustable text size, high-contrast modes and captions on our videos. We have not yet had a third-party accessibility audit; if you hit a barrier, tell us and we will fix it.

How can I contact support, and how fast will you reply?

Email support is included on every plan. Standard support (Free Trial, Family Starter, Family Plus and Adult) targets a first response within 2 business days. Family Premium and Adult Pro get priority support with a target first response within 24 hours. Billing questions go straight to billing@socialability4all.com. Support hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm Central Time. We do not provide crisis support — if someone is in danger, call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
